The Chancery of the British Embassy to the Holy See is located at Porta Pia, the city gate in the Aurelian city walls, at the confluence of the Via Nomentana and the Via XX Settembre.  See it on a map.

It is served by bus lines: 36, 90, 60, 61, 62, 84, 490, 495.
There is a direct bus connection from the Vatican (Borgo Sant'Angelo), line 62.  Buy your ticket before boarding and cancel it on board.
